Fallows Fire.

I went down to Kent in June to birth a Fallow (fur on) and Oak frame drum with http://ancientkent.blogspot.co.uk/

 This is me by a great Oak on ancient Kent woodland just after birthing Fallows fire.

2 Beautiful 15" Oak Hoops.

 

After final sanding and oiling.

 

 

I took delivery today of two beautiful 15 inch Oak hoops and one stunning Red Stag deer skin... Two new drums start their birthing journey today and will be ready to go out into the world very soon...

Working on a commissioned drum beater and two new rattles. The birch wood handles for the rattles have been prepped and are looking really nice, the skin has been selected and cut to shape ready for the next stage. I was tempted to keep one of these for myself, but spirit is guiding me to put these up for sale, so thats what I'll do. Will post images when done.

Working on finishing a new rattle. This ones an Earth/Fire rattle for Sam,  the ideas Sam shared whilst crafting the rattle have made for one of my best rattles so far... Looks nice already, will post images soon.
