Rattles

Commissioned Rattle - Red Deer and Silver Birch.

Commissioned Rattle - Red Deer and Holly.

Herth-Ing Rattle

This rattle is my new personal rattle...
it is a HerthIng power rattle,
dedicated to the Goddess and God of this land... Hertha and Ing...
The rattle head is red deer, to which full honour and blessings have been made. The handle is Birch wood from a fallen tree, again crafted with honour and blessings. Inside are small stone chips from a local stream, two pieces of clear quartz crystal, and small pieces of the Birch bark laced with patchouli oil.... smells wonderful and Earthy. the handle has had many oilings with a mix of extra virgin olive oil and some essential oils.

Sam's Earth and Fire Rattle

The creation process for this rattle was completely guided by Sam and spirit.
The red deer skin was soaked in tea leaves and water to give
a really nice deep brown Earth colour,
with the element of fire in the red stiching and plaited grip.
This is a beautiful rattle, for which I had to step aside from my own
creative input and simply become the channel for
Sam and Spirit to work through.
A process that worked really well.
